About UsAuscare House is an independent living hostel, for persons with intellectual or psychiatric disabilities.
We provide supported accommodation, in a secure and homely environment, for residents who are seeking both a private and comfortable lifestyle. Auscare House is a drug and alcohol free environment. Smoking cigarettes is only permitted outside in a designated undercover area. We have a GP who visits the residents on a weekly basis, and referrals can be made to other outside agencies as required. The various RSP programs in the Gold Coast are actively involved with our residents. We attained a 100% accreditation, in all 3 levels, from OFT in August 06, with continual renewals every 3 years, and are licensed for 33 residents. Visits to inspect the accommodations are welcome |
